Forget-me-not Foundation Romania (Fmn) is a British registered charity (no. 1091442, www.charitycommission.gov.uk ), to support disabled orphans in Romania by providing a private “family home" for 5 abandoned children who are all with special needs.

Forget-Me-Not Romania (FMN) is its Romanian counterpart, legally registered ac- cording to the Romanian legislation referring to foundations & associations (Law 26/2000), and fully accredited (Nov. 2005) to operate as provider of social services according to the individual needs of orphaned children with disabilities.


 

 




Who we are:

The Forget-Me-Not Foundation was founded in 2002 to provide a formalized framework of professionals operating in the field of child protection and recovery in Romania. FMN and its partner organizations have successfully implemented many important projects and activities, advocating for the improvement of lives of Romanian children and families.


Our mission:

Forget-Me-Not Foundation is a registered non governmental organization working towards improving the lives of orphaned children with disabilities, to be an influential voice and to provide support for improving the Romanian system of child, youth and families protection.


Our goals:

To provide professional and personalized recovery therapies for children that are suffering from various forms of mental and physical disabilities, offering a family home, love, care and affection these children need.

To provide opportunities for networking and sharing of information between members, NGOs, government entities, donors, etc.

To influence policy in child welfare.

To support the development and implementation of high quality standards and social welfare services
