There are currently 5 children, all with special needs, at FMN home. They are mostly ‘social orphans' who have been abandoned by their parents at birth or when very young. Some have congenital mental disabilities & some have behavioural problems due to previous abuse or neglect. They can be hard work but they are all very cheerful, full of fun & very affectionate. All we are really asking of volunteers is to help FMN staff look after the children & show the kids that you care about them & give them affection in return for theirs.

The current FMN project is providing disabled and/or special needs orphan children with a family environment, love, care, affection, personalised therapy and education in order for them to start the recovery and reintegration process, to return to a normal life. For achieving this goal, Fmn UK with its counterpart, FMN Romania, have purchased a real estate and built a modern house, complete with all furniture and electrical and electronic household equipment, securing all commodities required by a decent life.
